Director's ReportMarch 29 , 2010 from Liz KelnerDear Friends: As many of you might already know, I have given the Traprock Board my resignation effective June 1, 2010. My decision to leave the position of Director came after very serious consideration and was based on many factors that made my continuing to meet the needs of Traprock no longer possible. Currently and thankfully, the Traprock Board is taking on the challenge of assessing what the most viable path for Traprock will be as we move forward and I intend to continue to be involved in the peace and justice work of Traprock into the future. Serving Traprock since August 2008 has been a great privilege and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of Traprock's ongoing history. I am also grateful for all the support we have received from our board, volunteers and the community at large. This support has enabled us to once again become a vibrant and much appreciated presence in our peace and social justice community. For now, Traprock will continue in our storefront space. We are preparing for the sharing of our space with another organization which will give us greater fiscal stability as long term options get clarified. And there are some exciting and promising possibilities on the horizon.... . Meanwhile we have a full calendar of events coming up! I'll send out reminders but please mark your calendars now!! And note that I will be on vacation from March 31st to April 14th. Traprock will be open during this time only on March 31st and April 5th from 1 to 5 in the afternoon. All phone calls and emails during this time will be picked up and answered. Peace and gratitude to you all, Liz Thursday April 8 - 6:30 at Traprock.
